as inspired by Rev 19:11 "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True." and Rev 19:14 "The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean." Because Christ purifies us, it is our desire to be called to follow our leader riding white horses,dressed in fine linen. Where fine linen is defined in Rev 19:8 as the righteous acts of the saints; we want to be riders that are dressed in fine linens; Riders For Christ, ready to ride when Christ returns.

I know it's been a long time since we have posted... rest assured, I have not quit praying over my household. Please stand with me in prayer over my son's High School Graduation which he is walking a tight rope to acheive.

Lord, as we struggle to focus heavenward we walk the tightrope of how to live a life that pleases you. I ask that above all things my children grow up to live a life to please you fully. Please help my son focus and complete what he needs to graduate on time and walk in his cap & gown at his high school graduation ceremony. This would really please his mom! I thank you for his health, for keeping him safe, and protecting him from harm as he traverses this wild ride called adolescents. Thank you Lord for your unfailing love and your mercy and grace. Please soften his heart to seek you, let him find you with a repentitive and receiving heart. In Jesus name, Amen.

Precious in His Sight

Lord, I just pray for my co-worker's family and for Bob. How difficult this time is for them as they prepare to say good-bye to his 5-month old grand-daughter born with a terminal, rare disorder. How can you explain such a thing that not one child has ever been known to have, that one doctor in our country has never witness. What a blessing she is to her parents and grandparents and how precious she is to you. I don't know how to pray except that your Holy Spirit be with them and annoit this situation to guide and comfort them as they make these very difficult decisions. I can't imagine anything more difficult and I don't understand why but I ask that you give them the Joy of drawing close to their Father in Heaven through it all and the absolute certainty of your presence with them in their valley of darkness. Thank you for helping the mom and dad come to agreement on these difficult choices so that they can support each other without bitterness and regret. Thank you for the blessing of letting me be there for Bob as he regains his energy to continue supporting his family. Thank you for the words you gave me to encourage him and the joy of hearing the stories of her baptism and the peace of knowing that your people are reaching out to his family in such an awesome and loving way. Guidance

I really am struggling to keep my 17yo in school. He just doesn't go. I have tried a lot of techniques but don't seem to get anywhere under my own strength and authority. It feels like an impossible battle EVERYDAY. Lord please I know that with your power and strength he can turn around this behavior. Give me the wisdom to know when to let go, when to discipline, when to let him accept the natural consequences for this behavior and when to impose additional consequences. Help me to know how to counsel him and guide him to motivate him without discouraging him and most of all Lord surround him with your host of angels and give him Your Spirit to guide him to do what is right and pleasing for you. For HOPE

Lord, please heal my sister's illness and restore her to complete health. She gives her all and needs all her physical strength. I just pray that you give your full strength and power both physically and mentally to her and through her. She is a giver of all she has and asks for so little in return. Lord, because you are the giver of everything even though we do not deserve it I ask you to pour out your love and healing on my sister, your blessed servant. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Draw Near

Prayer for the USA

Lord, in the wake of North Korea's successful nuclear weapons test, I just pray that you give the USA and the other nations in the 6-party talks the wisdom for dealing with North Korea. I pray for the safety of all people due to this new nuclear threat on the world. I pray that the threat does not continue to escalate and that your Glory would be shown in all this. Amen.

September 11th

Lord, I pray for our country and people as this september day passes by. Heal the deep wounds many have sustained in the wake of such disaster 5 years ago. But, may we never forget this day. Sear it into our hearts and minds for years to come. We will stand strong and firm, for the joy of the Lord is ours and the God we follow is a god of love and not fear, nor terror. Lord, hold our hearts this day. In Jesus' name we pray.

A prayer for the family and fans of the Crocodile Hunter (and for Connor)

Lord I just offer up comfort and your presence in the lives of Steve Irwin's family, and though we don't know them personally we know the pain Terri and the children, Bindi Sue and Bob, must be facing and the struggles they will be facing as they grieve and build a new life without him. I ask that you send your angels to stay near to them during this time. Lord, I ask that you comfort Connor and all the children who admired "The Crocodile Hunter." Show me how to help Connor deal with his dream jar that he saved for his trip to Austrailia hoping to meet the Crocodile Hunter in person. His dream is shattered and I ask for your guidance and comfort to help him as he hears the news and puts this death into perspective. In Jesus Christ, Amen.

A Prayer Offered in Faith

Why would a doctor tell a patient that having many prayer warriors and being on prayer lists has been proven to not make any difference in a patient's outcome? Not to mention I have read many studies that have found that prayer does make a difference. Regardless of how their studies turn out we hold to the truth that 'we do not receive because we do not ask' and so we come before the throne of our Lord and we ask. And we also know that where two or more are gathered in Christ name, there we will ask and we will receive what we ask for in faith.

Please pray for my sister who has been diagnosed with a fibrose tumor behind her abdomen. It was her doctor who made that blasphemous statement but I believe prayer will help and where the doctors have conceded our Healer, Jesus Christ, will be able to heal her. This tumor invaded her kidneys and they were very close to shutting down. The stints have opened up the drainage tubes and allowed her to clear those out. Praise God! But she has a long way to go. They do not know if the tumor is malignant and she has chosen not to find out but to let them treat the fibrose tumor and allow God to work his miracles. Please pray for the miraculous healing that only Christ can deliver. We know he can and we know that he hears and answers all of the prayers!

I just want to repeat that prayers are precious to God. He does not take them lightly and has a precious place for them, "they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." I believe that applies to the people you pray for that you don't even know, even people who are prayed for that don't even know you are praying for them. The prayer lists make a difference to my sister, she loves to hear that others are praying for her. That is God sending her some comfort. But we know it's more than that, that God hears our prayers. "... They cried out to him during the battle and he answered their prayers because they trusted in him." (1 Chron 5:20).

It's not rocket science, it's Faith!

Thank you Lord for your precious gift of prayer that allows us to come before your Mighty throne with our own endless troubles and our concerns for others, even those we do not know. Amen.

Prayer for the United States of America

Lord, I pray for all the party revelers tonight who are celebrating the independence of our great country. I pray that you keep them safe and fill their hearts with love for America and their fellow man. Oversee our nation's police force as they seek to protect the citizens tonight as well. I pray for our soldiers who continue to protect our country and other countries; Lord, comfort them tonight if they are far from home and in a strange place.

Father, I pray for our nation in the wake of North Korea's missile test launch. I pray that you would give our leaders the wisdom to know how to deal with these recent international developments. Lord, I know that you are larger than all of this, and I pray that your will would be done in the world.

Your might is is stronger than any man's. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Protection and Wisdom and Thanks!

First of all, God, our Father who watches over us in heaven, I just thank you for keeping us safe at the ranch. Lord thank you for keeping our trainer and our horse safe while what we thought was a great idea turned into a bad situation. Lord you gave us the honor of being responsible for these wonderful creatures and we just ask you for your guidance and wisdom with each of them and especially with Taffy. She is so afraid of humans and we are just unable to teach her to trust us. So Lord please show us the way for her, and bring someone to us that can help us with her. Lord please do not give up on her. Help us find her a good home and someone experienced enough to work with her.

Lord thank you for letting me clearly see my limits in my ability. Forgive me for my arrogance that got Taffy and another handler in harm's way. Again I just thank you for keeping everyone safe and for keeping Taffy safe. I ask for your protection and wisdom in all that we do at the ranch, for each horse and horse trainer, for each rider and visitor, and for all the creatures here at the ranch. Amen.

Safe Travels

Dear Lord, glorious father in heaven, I ask that you watch over the travels of my boyfriend as he flies over large oceans and makes multiple connecting flights. Please bring a peacefulness to the travels, give him restful sleep and the security of being in capable hands. Send your angels before him, Lord, and pave the way. Keep all flights running on time and connecting without a hitch. Bring his baggage along safely. Give him the rest he needs when he is finally here so that he can adjust to the major time shift (from day to night and one day ahead to one day behind). Ah, Lord, you are the provider and the giver of all good things. I thank you ahead of time for that which you provide in your loving-kindness. Bless the Lord, O His people! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer for Nephew, Great Neices and Nephews

Lord, we need a miracle here. I am just praying for your will in this situation with my nephew. I pray that you forgive both him and ex-wife for all their wrong doing and sin in this situation. Please forgive them for they know not what they do. We are weak Lord and you are our strength. Guide us as we encourage him. Please put the passion in his heart to do whatever is necessary to stay connected to those kids as their dad. Lord, kids need a dad involved in their lives. I just pray that you find him the legal counsel, resolve this child support issue to something that is fair and reasonable not more than what he makes, clear him of criminal charges because Lord this is not fair and reasonable. I just pray that you give him the courage to face the judges head on, that you would give these judges the ability to see the truth in this situation, to allow him to have legal representation he can afford, and the miracle of an equitable child support and custody agreement to come out of this whole mess. Lord, the bottom line is that we need you and we need you a lot during his darkest hours here when it comes to his kids. And Lord, I pray for my sister that she can have regular chances to see her grandkids, so that they will get to know her, and come into a loving relationship with them. New Ministry

Father God, I thank you for who you are. Your mercy abounds and your love for us is everlasting. May our hearts be consumed by your fire and your love. Cleanse us, O Lord, and heal us. May we be set apart and holy in your sight. You truly have charge over everything in our lives, Lord, and for that we are thankful. I pray that your anointing would be on me to set forth in this new deliverance ministry you have invited me to participate in. I love to see people set free, Lord. I pray your will be done and your protection surround us. I pray that you will show me your ways, O Lord. May you be magnified above all else.

My family

Father God,

I pray that you would watch over my parents who have moved to Texas. I see that you are making new things happen in my family and I just pray that Your will be done. Give my sisters a sense of peace about my parents leaving. Help them to accomplish everything that my parents used to take care of. Please watch over my niece and nephew, especially my niece who doesn't understand that she's not going to see Grandma and Grandpa tomorrow. Lord, ease this transition for everyone.

Writers Group Forming

Lord, I pray a blessing over the writer's group that I feel lead to form. I beleive it was you placed this on my heart and I want to follow your direction. Please don't let me chase after my own desire unless they are your desires as well. Let me be wise enough to accept the direction of my church leadership and if you are leading me to confront unbiblical traditions in our church, please help me to do that respectfully, tactfully, and with your wisdom void of my own selfish needs. I just ask that you bless this group of writers as we come together to explore all that you have for us. I pray that they will be blessed by making the extra trip out to the ranch, let them be blessed here as I am. Again I ask for your blessing for each creative talent that comes to our group, I ask you to bless us as a group, help us to encourage each other, let our group be a blessing to its members as well as those who will be touched through our writing. I ask for your presence in all our group meetings and to give those whose heart you are touching through this group to have the courage to make the trip, to sign up, and to pick up the pen and write through your inspiration and wisdom. The Storms

Lord, thank you for keeping all of us safe during the storms that went through the midwest this weekend. Thank you for keeping my son safe as we heard on the phone the howling winds from that tornado that passed by him so far from home. Thank you for letting my sister and brother and their spouses and children leave the lake on time, just hours before the tornado ripped that campground, marina, and boat storage apart. Thank you for keeping them safe throughout the terrible storms on their way home. The boats and campers lost are just stuff Lord and we are grateful for your protection of what is really precious, our loved ones. Thank you for giving me a peace about my car, which was damaged from the hail. It is just a thing. And I accept your lesson in all of this... that stuff is just stuff and it was never meant to last. Help me to bind closely to my relationships here on earth and loose my grips on petty arguments, feelings of jealousy and rejection, and holding on to stuff that doesn't matter because what is bound on earth you promise will be bound in heaven and what is loosed on earth will be loosed in heaven. I just pray that you comfort those who did lose loved ones in the storms this weekend, and help those who lost homes find shelter and food and most of all, love and caring people to help them. Lord you are the one who will turn the black clouds of these storms in to a spring rain, the tragic twirl into a summer breeze. Thank you again for keeping my loved ones safe through the storms. Amen.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, thank you for safely bringing my sister through her surgery. In faith I thank you for healing the hernia. Holy Spirit come to her, let her receive the healing that You have done. Let her live fully in the absence of pain. Lord I ask that you take away her pain and her fear of what could be wrong and let her rest in faith that there is nothing wrong and she is fully healed. Do not let her feel ashamed that they can not find anything wrong to answer her pain but let her be relieved of her pain and rejoice in the fact that you have healed her body. Thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus, our savior and healer. Amen.

Many Prayer Coverings

Lord I just ask that you cover my loved ones in prayer and annoint them with your blessings and favor as they each face their upcoming challenges and adventures. I ask for your healing power to rest on my sister who is undergoing surgery tomorrow, for your protection and safe-keeping for my daughter's travels next week, and for my sons who are both recovering from an illness. As always keep my airmen in your safe-keeping. Lord again I call out to you to open their hearts and led them to you. Lord I ask that you prepare my future husband with your grace and draw him close to you to move in your power and annointing. Introduce us and bless our early relationship as you reveal your plans for us. Let us be attracted to each without being distracted from our calling to serve you for the Kingdom of Christ. I ask that your Holy Spirit be present for my young people church goup meeting tomorrow. I pray that those who come will find peace and comfort in my house. Please let me be guided by your Holy Spirit as we meet. May your presence minister to our hearts. May your Spirit abide in all of us. I ask that you bring freedom to our hearts as we meet together. Let us be free to fellowship together. God Almighty, my our gathering be pleasing to you and open a door for us to grow in our relationship with you. Teach us your ways. Guide us in your path. Most importantly, grace us with your presence, for we seek your face. I thank you for this opportunity that you have opened for us to fellowship. Please build courage in my heart, and teach me to be sensitive to your direction.

You are the Joy, the peace, and love of my life. "What a joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin has been put out of sight, What a joy for those whose record You have cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty." Thank you Lord. I have confessed to you my sins and my rebellion and you have forgiven me. Amen.
Father in heaven,
Guide my children along the best way for their lives. Advise them and watch over them. Do not let them be like senseless horses or mules who need bits and bridles to keep them under control. Let them confess their sins to you and stop trying to hide their guilt. Let them confess their rebellion to you and come to you to be forgiven. Oh what joy for them whose disobedience is forgiven, who sin is put out of sight. Let my children know the joy of having their record cleared of guilt and let them live their lives in complete honesty.

Prayer Covering for Myself

Father God,

I praise your name. Truly, you are magnificent. Your hand has been upon my life in the last two weeks. I pray that you would show me everything that I need to know to follow you in Spirit and in Truth. Please, soften my heart and keep my spirit humble. But, mostly Lord, I ask for your courage and your boldness. Give me the courage to follow you into the ministry you have opened up for me to lead the 20-somethings in my church. Give me the boldness to stand up against the enemy who is already speaking untruths into my ear, telling me I'm inadequate. Show me that your Word is good and bring me into an even closer relationship with you, that I might hear your voice and heed your call. I will follow you in all I do.

R4C Ranch

Father God, I ask that you guide all my decisions about R4C Ranch. I want to follow you and prepare others to follow you as you lead me to. Lord I want to lift up your name in EVERYTHING I do including RBRR and I ask that you give us the strength and the spiritual backing we need in order to do that. We are thick in the middle of a spiritual battle surrounding that ministry. I see it ripe for an opportunity to spread the good news, to develop disciples for Christ, and to show God's love to the hurting. Lord I do not want to hide your name behind horses but rather that horses be used to boldly shine your light into a hurting world. Lord I pray for those involved in these ministries that they would come to know you Lord, soften their hearts, draw them close, open their eyes, and WIN THE VICTORY for their souls. Lord I know your timing is perfect but I ask that the victory comes today! Lord that we can move together and grow as a Body proclaiming the name of Jesus, united in Christ, your son, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

My Grandfather

Lord, I just ask for your blessing and favor on my Grandfather who is 105 years old today. Lord, He is lonely, he thinks you have forgotten him. Lord I don't know if he knows Jesus or has accepted him but I just pray for his salvation. He is isolated and lonely in his own world where he can't hear those around him to carry on a conservation, he can't see who is sitting next him. He can only sense there are people around him. Lord I ask that he can feel your presence. Be with him every day, each moment, and keep him close to you until his time to depart this earth and then Lord I just ask that you take him to heaven to wait for us there. In Jesus name, Amen.

My home and others

Father God,

I pray your will would unfold in my life and home. Let me do your will this week at school, at home, and at church. Show me your way; guide me in all things. Let not a moment pass when I do not seek you. May I hear your voice and head the call. Lord I thank you for what you are doing in my life. I see the seeds of things to come and my joy increases. I know you are bringing things together in a fashion I never would have guessed with my earthly mind.

Lord, I lift up my little sister. Give her strength in You. Give her energy. Heal her sickness. Call her to you even more and reveal to her your will. Lord, the enemy surrounds her. I cry out on her behalf. Lord, keep her from temptations and save her from the stench around her. Let your spirit lift her above and show her all things.

Mend Two Broken Hearts

Father in heaven, May all who enter my home praise your name. God I ask that you show Amanda the way you want her to go. Thank you for standing with me as I talked with her last night. Our hearts are broken Lord and only you can heal them. Nothing is impossible with you, Lord. Show Amanda your strength, your heart for her life, Give her the courage to make the difficult steps you are tugging at her heart to make. Sometimes the path which seems to be the least resistant is really the path full of pain and struggles outside of your blessing and favor. The first step is usually the hardest but once she is walking with you again your burden is light. Bring her back into your blessing and favor. Let your guiding star be shining so bright she can't help but see you, hold her hand tightly so she can't let go of you, and guide her back onto the path of your blessing and service that you have prepared for her. Lord, help me to guide her back to you. Thank you for allowing us this time this evening, to share our hearts, to share your love, and although I am not so sure I know how it ended, I trust you Lord. Thank you for letting me hold her. Help me to not be an obstacle in your way but give me your words, the emotions, your strength, your peace, and your wisdom to guide her in this time of great transition and turmoil in her life. In Jesus Name, please stay with her and if it is your will bring her home. Amen.

This Mother's Heart

Father in heaven, may all who enter my home praise your name. Please draw my children close to you and restore your Joy in their hearts. Heal them from their grief and show them clearly You are there for them. Most of all this mother's heart wants for them an intimate relationship with you, God, a relationship of comfort, peace, joy, and closeness. I just ask that each of them get a big God hug this week.

I ask that you lead Lennon to other believers that He may spend this week praising your name. Keep him safe in his service and build him up for serving you, Lord. I ask that you restore Amanda's joy through Your presence in her life. Let her hear your voice and rebuke the enemy so he may not lie to her, so she will see clearly the way to go on a path that leads to You and your abundant life for her. If it is your will, bring her home and show me how to share your love with her and build her up for serving you.

Lord, I ask that you bring Rosco close to you again. Restore the Joy He had praising you with his music. Let him know you personally and know the Joy of Salvation. Give him the desire and the courage to be baptized in your name and if it is your will, to play on the worship team again. Show me how to train him up and give him the boldness to be Salt and Light in his relationships at school and at the ranch.

For my little one, Lord, you know the pain he has in his heart because you took his dad. Please help him soften his hardened heart and free it from hate. Help him to understand, because Lord it is hard for all of us to understand why little ones must suffer. But I trust you, Lord, because I have seen your work, but Lord, all he has seen is the loss of his daddy. So please Lord, forgive his anger at you and restore his love for Jesus and his joy of praising you on earth.

A Prayer for my Home & the Ranch

Lord, please open the door of my home to many friends and family. Make this a place of refuge for your children and your lighthouse beacon to the lost. Let all who enter in feel welcomed, refreshed, and equipped with your power to face their daily battles. Let the love they find here remain dear in their hearts when they venture out into the world. Show me how you want my home to change and gently guide me in good stewardship of it. Mold me and make me a good friend to my brothers and sisters in Christ and to the lost. Lord, let my home draw people to your Light, let me be someone who illuminates your Love, and let all who cross through the ranch gates be immersed in Your Presence. In Jesus name, Amen.
