A prayer for the family and fans of the Crocodile Hunter (and for Connor)
Lord I just offer up comfort and your presence in the lives of Steve Irwin's family, and though we don't know them personally we know the pain Terri and the children, Bindi Sue and Bob, must be facing and the struggles they will be facing as they grieve and build a new life without him. I ask that you send your angels to stay near to them during this time. Lord, I ask that you comfort Connor and all the children who admired "The Crocodile Hunter." Show me how to help Connor deal with his dream jar that he saved for his trip to Austrailia hoping to meet the Crocodile Hunter in person. His dream is shattered and I ask for your guidance and comfort to help him as he hears the news and puts this death into perspective. In Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lord, I echo the prayer of peace for the family of Steve Irwin. Lift their hearts and fill them with love in this time of need. Help them to come closer to each other and to you. Lord comfort all the children out there who looked up to the Crocodile Hunter, especially including R4C's son. In Jesus' name, Amen.
