Draw Near
"Lord you are as close to us as we choose you to be. You promised us that when we draw near to you, you will draw near to us. Remind us each day, each moment to draw near to you. Help us be your true blue as you are for us. As we read your word help us to know you intimately as you know every hair on our head and every cell in our bodies and every beat of our hearts and every breath that we take. Each day read
1 chapter from Proverbs
1 chapter from Psalms
1 chapter from the New Testament, and
1 chapter from the Old Testament.
Following this plan you will read through Proverbs each month, Psalms every six months, the New Testament once each year, and the Old Testament once every two years.
